چکیده

Abstract. The authors describe the analysis of current state problem under consideration. A definition "averaged failure flow parameter" is given. periods traction rolling stock life cycle are considered. assumption event distribution laws exponentiality introduced, which makes it possible to obtain expressions main reliability indices in analytical form. work depot service locomotives ensure required and readiness during their normal operation has been assessed. introduction term "readiness" into modern practice estimation initial data for calculating indexes locomotive uptime presented. Calculated values no-failure electric obtained. calculated internal technical availability coefficients compared with similar indicators established by specifications. Control procedures were performed determine compliance each set (EP1, 2ES4K) requirements. As a result comparing factors (for EP1 2ES4K analogous specifications (EP1 was determined that surveyed comply control requirements, run question does not fully requirement. And meets but error value higher than 20%. To clarify both events, necessary increase mileage interval repeat procedure determining method assessing identify existing shortcomings form measures improve quality operation.

Simulation Method for Reliability Assessment

This paper describes a simulation method for reliability assessment of electrical distribution systems. The method has been implemented in the reliability assessment tool RADPOW which now is able to perform both analytical and simulation evaluations. The implemented method is validated by comparing results from application studies made for an electrical distribution system in the Stockholm area...

Sequential Optimization and Reliability Assessment Method for Probabilistic Design

Probabilistic design, such as reliability-based design and robust design, offers tools for making reliable decisions with the consideration of uncertainty associated with design variables/parameters and simulation models. Since a probabilistic optimization often involves a double-loop procedure for the overall optimization and iterative probabilistic assessment, the computational demand is extr...

Sequential Optimization and Reliability Assessment Method for Efficient Probabilistic Design

Probabilistic optimization design offers tools for making reliable decisions with the consideration of uncertainty associated with design variables/parameters and simulation models. In a probabilistic design, such as reliability-based design and robust design, the design feasibility is formulated probabilistically such that the probability of the constraint satisfaction (reliability) exceeds th...

Reliability of Pubertal Self Assessment Method: An Iranian Study

OBJECTIVE This investigation aims to evaluate the validity of a Persian Tanner Stages Self-Assessment Questionnaire. METHODS In this cross sectional study, 190 male students aged 8-16 years selected from three layers of different regions of Tehran (North, Central and South) were enrolled. A Persian questionnaire illustrated with Tanner stages of puberty (genital development and pubic hair dis...

A multiwavelet support vector regression method for efficient reliability assessment

As a new sparse kernel modeling technique, support vector regression has become a promising method in structural reliability analysis. However, in the standard quadratic programming support vector regression, its implementation is computationally expensive and sufficient model sparsity cannot be guaranteed. In order to mitigate these difficulties, this paper presents a new multiwavelet linear p...
